Christy Canterbury is a Master of Wine, journalist, speaker and critic who lives between New York City and the vineyards of the world. She became a Master of Wine in 2011 and was the seventh woman in the US to earn the title.
Christy has been a regular in Burgundy for more than twenty years, lived in the region part-time for over half a decade and has worked several harvests. She now reports on Burgundy for Jasper Morris MW's Inside Burgundy. Her writing has appeared in Decanter, Wine-Searcher, Wine Enthusiast and on timatkin.com, and she is a Co-Chair of the International Wine Challenge.
On WineMasters.TV, Christy teaches in WineMasters Class with Andreas Larsson and Marc Almert, from Austrian whites to white Burgundy, and she presents the WineMasters documentaries on Spain with Tim Atkin MW.
